Lotus Pendant

The lotus flower represented in this Victorian filigree pendant has beauty all its own. Emerging from muddy waters clean and poised, it is often associated with purity and enlightenment. Interpreted by some as a symbol of the divine, and by others as the purity of heart, the Victorians simply utilized it as a statement of eloquence and poise.
