Wholesale Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in carrying Hugo Kohl jewelry. These Wholesale Terms & Conditions apply to purchases and business conducted through an approved Hugo Kohl wholesale account. By placing a wholesale order, you agree to the following terms.

Wholesale Account Eligibility

Wholesale accounts are available to qualified businesses and are subject to approval by Hugo Kohl. Submission of a wholesale application does not guarantee approval.

Wholesale pricing and account access are intended solely for the approved business and may not be shared or transferred to another individual or business. Account information, including contact, shipping, and tax information, should be kept accurate and current.

Hugo Kohl reserves the right to review, suspend, or close a wholesale account if account privileges are misused or the account no longer meets wholesale eligibility requirements.

Wholesale Pricing

Approved wholesale customers receive 50% off retail price

Wholesale pricing is available only through an approved wholesale account.

Order Minimums

There is no minimum order quantity or minimum order value for approved wholesale accounts. Wholesale pricing begins with the first qualifying piece.

Payment

Payment in full is required at the time a wholesale order is placed. Available payment methods are presented at checkout.

Orders will not enter production, be released, or be shipped until payment has been received in full.

For approved memo arrangements, merchandise sold during the memo period will be invoiced according to the terms established for that arrangement.

Taxes & Resale Documentation

Wholesale customers are responsible for providing accurate and current resale, tax exemption, or other documentation when required.

Applicable taxes may be charged unless valid exemption documentation has been provided and accepted by Hugo Kohl. Wholesale customers are responsible for notifying Hugo Kohl if their tax or resale information changes or expires.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided by the wholesale customer. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout.

Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon arrival and notify Hugo Kohl as soon as possible of any damage, shortage, incorrect merchandise, or shipping issue so that we can determine the appropriate resolution and, when applicable, work with the shipping carrier.

Production & Lead Times

Our standard production time is approximately 10–14 business days. Rush production may be available upon request.

Lead times may vary depending on product availability, sizing, stone setting, finishing, order size, and other production requirements. Production times are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

If merchandise is needed for a specific event or deadline, please contact Hugo Kohl before ordering to confirm availability and timing.

Cancellations & Order Changes

Wholesale orders may be changed or canceled before production or fulfillment has begun.

Once an order has entered production, been sized, engraved, stone-set, otherwise altered, or shipped, it cannot be canceled or changed.

Requests involving standard in-stock merchandise that has not yet shipped may be considered at Hugo Kohl's discretion.

Returns & Exchanges

Standard wholesale merchandise may be returned under the following conditions:

• Returned merchandise must be in its original condition and unaltered.

• Standard merchandise returns must be postmarked within 7 days of delivery.

• Returns postmarked after 10 days may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

• Merchandise held longer than 30 days is not eligible for return.

Merchandise that arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect must be reported to Hugo Kohl within 7 days of delivery. Photos or other documentation may be requested. Depending on the circumstances, Hugo Kohl may offer repair, replacement, account credit, or refund.

Special orders, customized merchandise, and altered jewelry remain subject to the separate Special Orders & Altered Merchandise policy.

Merchandise provided under an approved memo arrangement is governed by the terms of that arrangement.

Special Orders & Altered Merchandise

Merchandise that has been specially ordered, sized, engraved, stone-set, customized, or otherwise altered at the wholesale customer's request is considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, except in the case of a defect or an error by Hugo Kohl.

Any special pricing, production requirements, or additional lead time associated with a special order will be communicated when applicable.

Setting-Only Jewelry

Certain jewelry styles may be available to wholesale customers as a setting only, without a center stone. When “Setting Only” is selected, the listed price does not include a center stone or stone-setting service.

Wholesale customers may set their own stone or arrange to have a customer-supplied stone sent to Hugo Kohl for setting. A setting fee applies, and current pricing will be provided at the time of service. Additional charges may apply if special work is required and will be communicated before the work is performed.

When a stone is set by another jeweler, the wholesale customer is responsible for confirming that the stone is appropriate for the selected setting. Hugo Kohl is not responsible for damage resulting from improper setting, incompatible stones, or modifications performed by another jeweler.

Customer-Supplied Stones

Customers sending stones to Hugo Kohl are responsible for securely packaging and insuring them while in transit to us. Hugo Kohl is not responsible for stones that are lost or damaged before they are received.

Customer-supplied stones will be inspected upon receipt before setting. If we identify an existing condition, damage, or compatibility concern that may make setting inadvisable, we may contact the customer before proceeding.

Hugo Kohl reserves the right to decline to set a stone if we believe doing so presents an unreasonable risk of damage.

Memo Arrangements

Hugo Kohl may offer memo arrangements to approved wholesale partners for qualifying events or other agreed-upon purposes. Memo arrangements are approved on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed as part of a wholesale account.

For approved arrangements, Hugo Kohl and the wholesale partner will establish a curated selection of merchandise, a memo value or merchandise limit, and a return date in advance. Initial memo arrangements may be limited to a smaller selection and may be expanded for future events as the wholesale relationship develops.

Any merchandise sold during the memo period will be invoiced at the wholesale price applicable to the arrangement. All remaining merchandise must be returned to Hugo Kohl by the agreed-upon return date and in its original, saleable condition.

Memo merchandise remains the property of Hugo Kohl until sold and invoiced. The wholesale partner is responsible for the care and security of the merchandise while it is in their possession and may be responsible for merchandise that is lost, stolen, damaged, altered, or not returned by the agreed-upon return date.

Brand & Marketing Materials

Approved wholesale partners may use product images, descriptions, and other marketing materials provided by Hugo Kohl solely for the purpose of promoting authentic Hugo Kohl merchandise carried by their business.

The Hugo Kohl name, trademarks, photography, and other brand materials remain the property of Hugo Kohl and may not be used in a manner that suggests the wholesale partner is Hugo Kohl or has an affiliation beyond its status as an approved retailer.

Pricing & Changes to Terms

Wholesale pricing, product availability, services, and these Wholesale Terms & Conditions are subject to change.

Pricing in effect at the time an order is placed will apply to that order unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
